Now with more movies and music.

Before I even get started, everyone needs to see this shit. Some people, sometimes...

I saw The Bourne Supremacy tonight, and I have to say, it was excellent. It was beyond excellent. I mean, he shot Russians, people. AND THEY WERE ACTUALLY IN MOSCOW. That part was particularly cool for me, seeing all the sites that I had just visited not two months ago. "Was there. Was there. Got dumped there. Train. Bus. Tram. Was there..." Seriously, though. This is the first time that they've actually filmed the streets of Moscow instead of using Prague as a substitute. We're talking authenticity, here.

This movie goes above and beyond its prequel, The Bourne Identity, with amazingly well-done choreography. Is that how you spell that? ... The fights was good, yeup. Good car chases, some wonderfully witty CIA banter, complete with pay-grade jokes only the saavy will understand!

Long story short, if you haven't seen this movie one month later, you've either been out of the country like me, or you live in a cave. No offense to any bears or hermits reading. We love you still the same. Just remember -- you're social on the inside.

Spiderman 2, also good. Everyone and their dead grandparents have seen this, so I'll move on and not tell you it was cool. ... Except the part (NO SPOILERS, BITE ME) where Spiderman loses his mask and saves a bunch of people, and like, everyone sees his face. The kids walk up to him, and they're all, here you go, Spidey. We won't tell anyone! ... Bitch, you know that kid's in school the next day bragging, his mom booking talk shows and the like. Whatever.

As for rentals ... I'll get back to you. I've heard things, but I'd rather just rent Taking Lives and Hellboy and tell you what I thought of them myself.

Musica!

Shinedown ("45," "Fly from the Inside," "Simple Man") has remastered their original CD with additional songs and computer video extra features. They have a good rock feeling without being too hard. Or happy. God, they're not happy. Sort of mellowing, not often angry, it's worth checking out.

Coheed and Cambria have released a CD, and their single "A Favor House Atlantic" is addictive, like crack, or gambling with other people's money. "Good eye, sniper! I shoot, you run!" Ironic subtleties really make the lyrics, here. ... Is that how you spell subtleties? Muzik g00d.

311 have released a greatest hits CD, covering the 90's and the 2000's (WTF do we call the 21st century years, anyway?). Lots of good older tracks, some brand new ones. Check it out.

Upcoming in music, we're gonna take a look at Midtown, Yellowcard, and Switchfoot. Stay tuned.
